The Col de Marcieu in summer mode
In summer, the Col de Marcieu offers a whole new range of activities on the Petites Roches plateau . As in the winter season, the Chartreuse offers a wide range of sporting activities for all the family.
Do you like thrills and chills? Tubing in the Chartreuse is a unique experience. Throw yourself into a giant slide the length of 5 Olympic-sized swimming pools, and speed through the Chartreuse forests in your giant float. You’ll need a strong heart to get through the chicanes and banked bends. You don’t like water? Perhaps you’ll feel more at home in the air? The zipline with bends offers 35 metres of vertical drop on a 350-metre-long course. Its highly original layout will surprise you and create a few emotions of its own. For the less adventurous, the accrobranche-style courses in the fun forest are more than enough.
Finally, for those who are afraid of heights or don’t like thrills, hiking is a much calmer way to discover the area. You’ll have no fear of exploring the magnificent landscapes of the Plateau des Petites Roches. Popular hikes include La Chapelle, La route forestière and Aulp du seuil.
