In the Chartreuse Natural Park

Plateau des Petites Roches

The Plateau des Petites Roches is a group of 3 villages in the heart of the Chartreuse Nature Park, set in a setting of outstanding beauty: a veritable natural balcony, overlooking the Grésivaudan valley and opening onto a horizon of peaks: Belledonne, Vercors, Mont-Blanc...

The Plateau des Petites Roches is a popular starting point for hikes in the Chartreuse region, as well as being a renowned hang-gliding site. Every year it hosts the legendary Coupe Icare, a not-to-be-missed event in hang-gliding.

Craftsmen and producers

We're very proud to be showcasing the expertise of our region, with a host of craftspeople and producers made in Le Plateau des Petites Roches. Here you'll find producers of beer, honey, cheese, Mohair wool, etc., as well as craftspeople who make pottery and wood carvings, so you can stock up on ultra-local products. They all have a history and values that we share: a love of good produce and a job well done, a deep-rooted respect for the land and the living world.
